Oklahoma O&G Regulatory Filings August 8, 2016

Last Weeks Drilling Intents, Spacing and Pooling Filings.

Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) latest filings as reported by Oseberg show Citizen Energy II LLC, a private company headquartered in Tulsa, leading the new intent category.  Citizen is active in Garvin, Grady, Canadian, McClain and Custer Counties in Oklahoma.

Continental Resources (CLR) and Newfield Exploration (NFX) again lead the new spacing filed category.  The majority of the spacings filed by CLR were in Blaine County, arguably the most active county across all categories.

The new poolings filed show Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions, LP with 5 applications, followed by NFX with 3, all 8 of these being in Kingfisher County. Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions, LP was incorporated in 2005 and is based in Houston, Texas. The company operates as a subsidiary of Alta Mesa Holdings, LP.
