Oilfield services provider Eastern Energy Services Inc.will acquire 100% of the ownership interests of Conquest Completion Services LLC, the company announced in a press release late last week.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Conquest is a provider of large-diameter coiled tubing units and oilfield chemicals used to advance reservoir performance. The acquisition supports Eastern’s completion, intervention, and production services in several basins, including the Haynesville Shale, Austin Chalk, Tuscaloosa Marine Shale, Louisiana, and conventional fields in Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

Benchmark U.S. crude oilfor November delivery fell $1.97to $88.82 a barrel Monday. Brent crude for December delivery fell $1.49to $90.71 a barrel.
Wholesale gasoline for November delivery rose 1 cent to $2.41 a gallon. November heating oilfell 8 cents to $3.22 a gallon. November natural gasfell 9 cents to $2.84 per 1,000 cubic feet.

The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield was punching higher to about 4.682% on Monday.
